Error in => paradise.mlapp at line 3805. Cannot open PARADISe

I have this error on two computers, where we have PARADISe installed. I try to open PARADISe and then it does not open it at all and gives out this error (both computers give similar but not exactly the same error).

Do you know what is it? Is there something we can do to fix it?

Hi Jolanta Rieksta, We have encountered errors similar to this before. Which version of PARADISe do you have installed on the two computers?

It might be because the default-session has been corrupted, you can try to remove or rename the folder "default-session" located at C:\Users\*USERNAME*\Documents\PARADISe.

Hi Jolanta, I am glad it worked. In the most recent version of PARADISe (v6.1.7), the issue with corrupted default session should be solved, as well as other bug fixes and general improvement. Importantly, there are speed improvements of both individual models and when fitting many models in parallel.
