Hi,
I'm experiencing an issue with the software: Every time I close the program, it does not restore the previous session when I reopen it (see attached screenshot).
This forces me to start from scratch each time I log in, and I need to search for intervals again and wait...Is it enough to save the .mat files I'm able to export before I close the program?
I’d appreciate it if you could let me know if there’s a setting I might be missing. Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Andrés,
Hi Andrés,
PARADISe v6.1.7 and earlier does, unfortunately, not open the previous session, but just the default session. If the default session is somehow corrupt, then it displays the error you see and starts up in another session (with a unique name). To remove this error, you have to manually delete the "default-session" folder located at C:\Users\**USERNAME**\Documents\PARADISe
To access an existing session, in the Data Tab, you have to either write the session name in the text field or click the drop down menu (Import/Export) and select "Import PARADISe Session" then navigate to the desired PARADISe session folder.
Regarding saving, then PARADISe automatically saves your session to disk, but you can export the chromatographic data or intervals via the Import/Export button.
We recognize, that this workflow is not ideal and it is something we are addressing in the upcoming version of PARADISe - which will make navigation much easier and entirely remove the error you encounter.
Best, Jesper
